Lampguard Incandescent Lamps

We can protect the following ranges of light bulbs, 40, 60, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500 watt lamps in most sizes, caps and wattages together with spot lamps at 60 watts, long-life lamps at 16,000 hours 60 watts in most caps, candle lamps at 60 watts, golf ball or round lamps to 40 watts.

Ronfell was the first to offer incandescent lamps with protective TeflonŽ coatings. Coated with DuPont's clear, tough TeflonŽ, Lampguard incandescent lamps offer outstanding performance and reliability. The use of Lampguard incandescents is unlimited. Place them indoors, outdoors, in industrial plants, or anywhere the light fixture exposes the bulb or doesn't offer adequate protection.

Our incandescent lamps offer many advantages. The TeflonŽ coating forms a protective envelope which is designed to protect people, property and products from broken glass. It resists breakage from the thermal shock of rain or snow, hot and cold liquids and even hot weld splatters.

TeflonŽ is resistant to chemical contamination, degradation and keeps its integrity and clarity over the life of the bulb. The lamps are also easy to clean, because food and grease will not stick to the Teflon coating. Our TeflonŽ coated incandescent lamps will withstand bulb-wall temperatures of up to 500°F, but continuous burning in ambient temperatures in excess of 150°F could result in some loss of protective coating. Lampguard lamps are 100% inspected for coating thickness, integrity and lighting performance. For more advantages of Lampguard incandescent lamps, see below.

Industrial Service Lamps

Similar to standard inside frosted lamps, but are specifically designed to meet the requirements of strength and long "in-service" life necessary in industrial applications where normal shock and vibration are present.

Vibration Service and Rough Service Lamps

Designed with added strength to the filament to provide long lasting service in areas where high frequencies, shocks, or rough handling are normal. Rough Service Lamps have more supports than Vibration Service Lamps. Since high wattage lamps have heavier wire filaments which can withstand vibration and rough service, lamps for these services are not normally made in high wattages.

Par Flood Lamps

TeflonŽ coated PAR lamps resist cracking from thermal shock form rain, snow, or even welding splatters. Use indoor or outdoor, for warehouse, landscape, security and track lighting. Coating will not yellow, fade or crack.

Infrared Heat Lamps

As part of our incandescent line, Lampguard offers TeflonŽ coated high efficiency infrared heat lamps. These TeflonŽ coated lamps can withstand temperatures up to 500°F. This easily cleaned TeflonŽ coating prevents anything from adhering to the lamp. The TeflonŽ coating prevents thermal shock if the hot lamp comes in contact with cold liquids. In case of breakage, the plastic coating forms a protective envelope which is designed to minimize the dangers of broken glass to protect product and personnel.
